Philile (which is Zulu for ‘I am alive; full of life’) is a non-profit organization which was founded in 2008 to fulfil a need for good quality pre-school education in the inner city of Johannesburg.

Philile is expanding rapidly to transform the lives of children in disadvantaged communities.

Philile aspires to not only provide quality education, but to see the physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and social development of children addressed, alongside employing and training teachers from the local community.
